Ice Cream Factory Summer Festival captures the spirit of an Australian Summer; warm nights, outdoor dance floors, live music, innovative activations, and pop-ups galore.

Transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary domains for art, music, and cultural experience is what we do best. Presenting a fully immersive experience, the 2022 season blew the minds of tens of thousands with a truly remarkable lineup of national artists, incredible activations, and a few exciting surprises.

Nominated as a finalist in the 2019 Australian Event Awards, the festival continues to put Perth on the map as one of Australia’s best festivals.

Built from the ground-up

Built on the site of a former ice cream factory, Factory Summer Festival has captured the hearts and minds of audiences whilst showcasing the best live and electronic music talent in a 7000 sqm experiential venue in Perth since 2017.

Since expanding nationally, Factory has popped up at Brisbane Showgrounds, Metro City Perth and Metropolis Fremantle.

With unique indoor and outdoor zones, immersive theming, pop-up bars and eateries from local brick and mortar venues, Factory also features world-class branded activations and provides the perfect summer play-scape fior adults.

Thrilling attractions

Taking the festival to new heights, the 11-metre high Red Bull Zipline lured in thrill-seekers to give them a totally new perspective of the festival.
Party-goers followed the 40m staircase to reach the top of the triple-storey deck, taking in the views of Perth City skyline. Once strapped in and writing down their final words, they soared across the outdoor dance floor, landing at the Red Bull Landing Pad.
